- Our copyrighted Silver Fern Device, is recognised in a legal deed between the New Zealand Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet (Crown) and designer Kyle Lockwood, (an indigenous New Zealander of European and Ngāti Porou ki Hauraki Māori descent). It was first designed back in the year 2000.
- In the early 2000s businesses and sports teams started asking Kyle if they could incorporate his silver fern design into their branding, and so Silver Fern Licensing™ was born. Today we offer cost-effective Silver Fern Device licensing for New Zealand businesses, institutions and sports teams.
- Please note, we are NOT in any way affiliated with the NZ Government, nor their fern mark programme.
